Librestream has teamed with Fortress Technologies to provide a certified FIPS 140-2 secure wireless infrastructure option for Mobile Collaboration applications within military and defense. The Fortress software client resides on the Onsight mobile device to provide an end-to-end network solution that adheres to FIPS and other key government security mandates. This security architecture safeguards the network at the user, device and network levels.

The Onsight mobile devices securely stream live video, images, voice and telestration from the field through the Fortress wireless infrastructure products to the desktop of personnel who could be miles away in a command center. The Onsight Expert application, which resides on the secure desktop of the personnel at the command center, allows for secure two-way visual and audio interaction with the field personnel. The Onsight Expert operator can record the entire session for training and archival purposes and even remotely control the Onsight mobile device that is deployed in the field.
