Librestream Announces that a Major Oilfield Customer will Feature Onsight at the IADC Drilling HSE Conference in Singapore

Winnipeg, Canada, April 19, 2012 - Librestream is pleased to announce that the Onsight video collaboration solution will be highlighted at the IADC Drilling HSE Asia Pacific 2012 Conference & Exhibition, 25-26 April, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore.

On April 26, the Librestream Onsight system will be featured in a live conference presentation called Virtual Presence: The way to go…virtually! This presentation will cover how one Major Oilfield customer is using Librestream’s Onsight video collaboration system as part of their Virtual Presence solution to assist in training, planning and execution of real time projects by connecting specialized experts to remote field workers.

The presentation includes two live demonstrations of Onsight 2000Ex devices calling a computer running the Onsight Expert collaboration software in the presentation room at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center in Singapore. First, on-site personnel will call the conference center using an Onsight 2000Ex from the Cameron Shipyard in Singapore. In the second demonstration on-site personnel will use the Onsight 2000Ex to make a live call to the conference center from an offshore rig in Brunei. Session attendees will be able to hear and see what is happening at these remote locations and watch how the Onsight Expert operator can interact from afar.

Conference attendees will hear how Virtual Presence with Librestream’s Onsight system is already delivering tangible results to this Major Oilfield customer. Virtual Presence is reducing non-productive time and lost production, lowering travel costs and time, and providing much more efficient use of their limited global expert base. From an HSE perspective, less travel also reduces their overall HSE exposure.
